Overview
The Instax Mini 12 by Fujifilm is a fun, colorful instant camera designed for spontaneous creativity and joyful moments. This motion graphics project showcases the product features through dynamic animation, highlighting its ease of use, auto exposure, and selfie mode in a playful and engaging visual style.
My Role - As a motion designer, I created a short animated advertisement using Adobe After Effects, storyboarded key scenes, and designed assets in Photoshop and Illustrator to match the brand’s cheerful and retro aesthetic.
Goals
The goal of this project was to create a visually captivating motion ad for the Instax Mini 12 that effectively communicates its unique features and appeals to a younger, social-media-savvy audience. The animation aimed to reflect Fujifilm’s playful branding while staying consistent with the camera’s vibrant color palette and aesthetic. Additionally, storyboarding was essential to ensure a clear narrative structure and smooth transitions between product features.

Challenges
One of the main challenges was finding the right visual tone that aligned with both Fujifilm’s branding and the energetic spirit of the Instax Mini 12. Translating real-world features like auto exposure and selfie mirror into engaging animated moments required thoughtful planning and creative visual metaphors. Another challenge was maintaining a fun and cohesive motion flow while ensuring clarity in product communication.

- Motion Graphics A short promotional video created in After Effects that highlights the Instax Mini 12’s features using playful animations, typography, and color effects.
