Overview

Swishzone is a dynamic basketball training app that aims to bridge the gap between aspiring players and professional-level coaching. The platform offers interactive drills, real-time feedback, and progress tracking to help users level up their game from anywhere.

My Role - As a designer, I was responsible for building the brand from the ground up. This included creating the logo, defining the complete visual identity, developing the brand guide, designing all brand assets, and producing promotional motion graphics and video content.

Goals

The primary goal of this project was to craft a bold and authentic brand identity that resonates with skateboarders and street culture enthusiasts. The branding needed to capture the raw energy, rebellious spirit, and creativity of skateboarding while maintaining a professional and modern aesthetic. Another key objective was to design an intuitive and visually engaging website prototype in Figma that showcases Wryft’s products, and community culture. Additionally, creating striking digital advertisements was essential showcasing Brand's Apparal.

Challenges

One of the key challenges was designing a logo that was both visually impactful and adaptable across a wide range of mediums — from digital to apparel to motion graphics. The client required several variations of the logo to suit different formats, including horizontal, stacked, and icon-only versions. Ensuring consistency across all these variants while maintaining brand recognition was critical. Balancing boldness, legibility, and versatility required multiple design iterations and close collaboration with the client to meet their specific expectations.

Deliverables

  • Full Branding: Designed the logo, defined typography, color palette, iconography, and overall visual identity, compiled into a complete brand guide.
  • Design Assets: Created a comprehensive set of digital and print-ready assets including app visuals, social media graphics, icon sets, and UI components.
  • Motion Graphics: Produced animated video content and promotional reels to visually communicate the product features across digital platforms.
